Gaps Biochar

Making Your Water Safer

About Us

In 2018 GAPs was formed. I was the General Manager of an erosion control company and came upon Biochar. I used it on 3 projects and found it intriguing.

My product is sourced from a Canadian company with no chemicals added. It is made from virgin wood and is produced by the method of pyrolysis.

Pyrolysis is the thermal decomposition of organic materials at high temperatures (typically above 400°C) in the absence of oxygen.

We use Biochar to reduce Mico-toxins in lakes. This in turn makes the lakes safe for drinking and recreation. It also helps reduce algae. Data for 8 years has been collected to back these statements.
